This project is aimed at the experimental and theoretical development of advanced Fe-based soft magnetic materials, which have saturation magnetic flux density Bs > 2.0 Tesla, coercive force Hc < 1.0 A/m, with a novel concept of specific element doped nanocrystalline/amorphous heterostructures for high performance electric motors. The project will yield new control and reliability for improved engineering of high performance Fe-based soft magnetic materials. The uptake of this technology will further strengthen Baosteel’s leading position in the competitive international market place.
