A thermoelectric power generator specifically designed to work in steel industry environment is to be developed by using methodologies of tailored materials and device engineering including a combination of strain engineering with band engineering for selection of materials with enhanced thermoelectric power factor, innovative design of thermoelectric modules and generator. The final product, a thermoelectric power generator, will be manufactured and demonstrated with technological specifications matching requirements for steel plant environment.
